Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Kawann Short added to Pro Bowl roster

Since the Los Angeles Rams glorious, and some might say controversial, victory over the New Orleans Saints transpired yesterday, Rams all-world defensive tackle Aaron Donald will be unable to attend the 2019 Pro Bowl since he is headed to the Super Bowl instead. As a result, Kawann Short has been named to the Pro Bowl roster, and this will serve as a make up for his first selection back in 2015, where he couldn’t go because he was about to play in a Super Bowl of his own.

Short will join fellow Carolina Panthers teammate Trai Turner down in Orlando for a fun weekend of mock football and shenanigans.

Statistically, it was a down year for Short, and a tough year overall for the Panthers defense. Regardless of that fact, a down year for KK is a pretty darn good year for just about anyone else, and it’s nice he’ll finally get to make the trip so he can stand around on the field and slap hands with the opposing offensive line, because the Pro Bowl is lackadaisical overall, but especially for linemen.
